Fantastic brand! I do not have any of their leather. Just one wool overcoat which is extra-long, and oversized, it reaches down to my shins. It is a showpiece and doesn't have lining or pockets. It is comfortable and very warm, I've no complaints. I got mine online so I couldn't check the sleeve fit, so it ended up being a bit too long, but if you try it on first you should be fine. Their leather tends to stray away from the extra-elongated silhouette they have going for most of their other pieces so I probably can't give the best rec for it.

Most expensive /fa/ article of clothing i own is prob. my Hugo Boss track jacket, which was $150 on sale($320 retail). I also own an expensive summit series north face jacket(was over $500 retail) but thats not really fashion... Same deal with my merrell winter boots($230). When you live in the middle of Canada, you gotta pay out the ass for proper winter gear or you'll be miserable for 9 months out of the year.

I dont own any fancy designer stuff(Other than a versace dress shirt that i picked up 2nd hand) and most of my clothing is bought from sports stores since i have friends who work there to let me use their discount... So I got lots of underarmour, north face, etc...
Also have a few expensive-ish lululemon jackets, and a guess hoodie that imo looks ugly as sin(Still has the $200 price tag on it, since its so fucking ugly i never bothered taking it off or wearing it

Thanks for the slightly-less-hostile reply. If you took the last few words off of the two last lines it would look like you were having a civil discussion.

If you are more concerned with buying things because they are "the best" then that's your prerogative. I am not tying to deter you from getting what, in your opinion, is the best, I am just saying different people have different priorities. I will look through my local fashion stores when I am looking for a piece before I go online. I would rather give money to people who produced things closer to me and who I can have a direct relationship with. I don't have any shops near me that sell the higher-end fashion brands that you refer to or I might consider getting their stuff more regularly. I am not disputing whether or not the quality if better for certain brands, I have not had any clothing from the brands that you are referencing, so I really only have my own, rather narrow experiences to base my opinion on.

I like my Ovate shirt and my Obscur coat and your opinion on "Best quality" doesn't change that. <3

Trunks goes for a look that people will laugh at because it seems out of context in 'normal' society, but as an actual fit it's interesting but sometimes comes off goofy due to the setting.

If people actually tried to learn and go beyond they can expand into several styles that they feel comfortable in.
Note: This doesn't mean you have to wear a ethereal wraith garb day by day, it's just one of the many ways "style" branches out to.

the most expensive shit i can put together would be:
drkshdw padded coat = aprox. 1k
RO high neck intarsia = aprox. 2k
devoa knit = aprox. 500
nicolas andreas taralis undershirt = aprox. 300
balmain distressed black bikers = aprox. 800
DD silent saturs = aprox. 270

so thats a total of aprox. 4870 eur
i also have a werkstatt munchen bracelet but i dont really wear it that much.

keep in mind tham im a student and i come form a middle class family, everything i had is the result of working at a call centre ( boring, but pays well), scaning the web for sales and years of saving up, also you ahve to stop copping mall shit once a week :)

Rick Hooded Jacket (Plinth) - paid $670/retailed ~$1800
2x Rick Unstable Cotton T(Vicious) - $600
DRKSHDW Prisoner Drawstrings(Vicious) - paid retail $400
Rick Shearling Ramones(Plinth) - paid $300 bn from SB/ retailed +$1200

Could go marginally more expensive by swapping out the prisoner pants for silk/cotton basket swinger shorts and the shearling ramones for reverse leather geos, but haven't worn the Rick jacket in months.

Let's see, I'm a semi-professional athlete and my club is paying for my education, I also work a part-time job teaching kids with language deficits to read and write, and during the holidays I pick up whatever manual labour I can (warehouse work, ducted air con fittings). I don't waste any money on alcohol, drugs or really going out in general and always put money into my saver before I cop anything. I have 0 credit card debt. I buy from designers who I respect and don't wish to feed the fast-fashion cycle of exploitation to pass on absurdly low prices to the end consumers. So after that careful reevaluation I'm pretty content keeping things the way they are, but thanks for the suggestion, friend.

Prada hightops (no, not the ugly/flashy ones), burberry bomber, citizen of humanity skinny jeans, hugo boss button up, vintage Bulova watch, gucci belt (laugh all you want, idgaf), wool wigwam socks (I'm going all out here). That's a little above $3,000 with taxes included. If you want to be real anal, I was wearing a MooseKnuckles parka and I had a Gator wallet on me. That's another $1250.

Hmm, about $180 Cole Haan oxfords, $350 Undercover trousers, $35 UU tee, $100 J. Crew cashmere, $450 Schott, medium quality underwear/etc.

Probably not my most expensive, but that's the higher side of an average daily fit. I have a nice vintage Sieko valued at about $800 that I wear on occasion, but I feel like that doesn't really count.

I don't understand why you would spend so much on a simple belt, but maybe that's just because I'm from a poorer background. My father bought a plain leather belt at Sears for $5.00 (about $20.00 in today's money) in 1976 and wore it every day, often with a holster and some farming stuff attached to it. He gave it to me when I was sixteen because he wanted one of those braided belts with turquoise and silver woven along it like the cowboy wannabes wear. That cheapo Sears belt has been used every single day continuously for the past 38 years and the only thing off about it is that the buckle's shiny finish has worn off.

Spending a lot of money on an accessory makes a statement. That's why you have $2000 leather briefcases, $900 belts, $50,000 watches and $600 ties. It's not that they're 50 more durable or even worth the price. They're simply there to make a statement. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves. And no, I'm mot saying you shouldn't buy expensive items. I've got plenty.

Watch $150-300

I do work in a retail store and buy shit dirt cheap with discounts on top of discounts but again i work in retail so im not making enought to always wear the best to me express, calvin klein and ralph lauren will be my top of the line but my casual wear is generally cheaper. The most ive worn in one go is actually a bit of a joke. I was pretending to be a generic douche in a party and wore five shirts ($200) two pants ($150) boots ($250) two watches ($400) and a tie ($30)

About $1200 but on lets say an occasion around $600. Where i get my better clothes.

Got a few tailored pieces that range from $3000 to $5000 (suits and odd jackets)

Some nicer outerwear that hits upwards of about $1500 (down, nicer overcoats)

My shoes top out around $700/$800 (shell cordovan, nice but not super nice dress shoes)

I've never spend anything more that $30 on anything with short sleeves because I'm not a fucking moron

I also haven't spent that much on any of this because shopping around for deals is damn easy.
