If you are spending more than $20 on a facial cleanser you should be considering yourself as a retarded person.

I beg to differ

If you're buying a larger quantity, it can cost more than $20

spf isn't really a big deal to me

i use adapalene and stridex and my face is red and irritated and i have a lot of PIH i need to get rid of

which of those would be best for me?

i see that Skin Recovery and Moisture Boost both have vitamin C which should be good for my redness and PIH, right?

is that enough or should i just drop PC and instead buy something with niacinamide in it like EltaMD?

works for me too. cost doesn't really matter with cleansers since they're only on your face for like 20 seconds

I spend $50 on a set every 4-6 weeks and $34 on a cleanser that lasts about the same. I've never had problems with my skin but I'm happier with it now that I maintain it, especially when I travel.

Why is cerave recommended more around websites? Is it because of the ceramide ingredient? I've used both cerave and Cetaphil cleansers and feel like Cetaphil is better..

I used that for the past 6 months It works well, but
I went back the Cerave foaming cleanser cause It felt better for me.

No ones skin is the same try it out for at least a month and see which one
had better results.

Do you pop them when they're fully mature (everybody says that's best but IMO it's more painful and there's more chance of scarring)?
I break out around my cheeks a lot, I get pretty painful bumps under my skin. I pop them with the help of two qtips (clean hands, clean qtips) before they surface completely, in order to drain them before they reach mount Vesuvius status.

Most of the time acne is the result of inflammation in the gut, so if you really want to cut it out for good, you have to go on a special diet to flush out the bad bacteria. I recommend the candida cleanse or the ketogenic diet. I am taking probiotics and they have an amazing healing affect on the skin, this and loose leaf camomile tea are my favorites for scarring.

Scars DO fade. Someone I know had cystic acne, but now he gets complimented on his skin and asked if he is a model because his pores are hardly visible, never mind the scarring. He told me he went on a special Chinese cleansing diet for a year while in Beijing. I will say that if you have acne, never be in the sun too long, as this type of damage to acne scarring is irreversible.

I have seen some of my scars heal, but it does take dedication and commitment. For example, if I go on a cleanse for a week then eat something high in sugar, the inflammation comes back and that causes the fading scar to become irritated again. You might be using the best products on the market, but if you are constantly rubbing your scarring then it will never leave, you must be gentle.

Must haves to heal skin:

- A whole food diet rich in vitamins and plenty of herbal teas for detoxification.

- At least 4 days a week of exercise because this is what is going to help rebuild collagen and promote circulation.

- A natural high quality skincare brand like Neal's Yard Remedies/Kiehls/Green People/Organic Pharmacy.

tbh it's just a combination of diet and products for me. I use that Aesop Fabulous Face Cleanser & that Aesop Moroccan Neroli post shave lotion when I shave. It's expensive, but employee discounts help & being able to buy it in a brick & mortar and get ample samples also helps too
