Does your family make fun of your clothing?

My dad makes fun of me for having 5 pairs of shoes

Eh, i don't live at home with my parents and haven't for several years.
Every time i meet them (which is like once a month) they comment on how good i look, which i suppose is to be expected.

>> No.9205476

Nope, if they express any interest or opinion on my clothes/shoes, i just explain it to them. They're pretty understanding.
That said, the rest of my family, except my sister is either fedora-core or pleb-core.

My parents noticed that i started taking care of what i wear and how my hair routine changed. Dad doesn't give a damn, and mom often compliments on my fits and how good my hair looks when i come to visit them.

My older brother is glad i stopped dressing like a clueless nerd.

My dog calls me a massive fuccboi, but fuck that guy.

My mum lives in South Florida and wishes that I wore more colours. She says that greige, dusty rose and taupe are "not colours"

3 month ago when i bought my CPs (230e)
my father said :
"LOL that's ridiculous 230e for a fucking pair, i can cop the same at h&m for 20e LOL"

Now, I only listen to the advice of my mother.

My sister is very effay, (health got, norm core, NY chic style). And she got quiet famous because of that. Almost 12k followers on instagram. Most of the time we match our outfits. We are very close to each other even thought she's 2 years older than me.
I know I got into fashion and self improvement because of her. My parents are very used to it, and somehow proud. My mom always says we look like models. I know it's bullshit, but at least she's not mad about having a boy with 8 pairs of kicks.

My dad is very neutral on that side, as long as I don't drop engineering he's happy about me.
