Haven't seen one of these for a while, so:
Australia general; what city are you in, where do you shop, summer inspo, bitch about the weather and the ashes etc etc

I'll start
>Perth (I know)
>oxford is alright
>gingers for gentlemen is good for shoes
>pigeonhole occasionally has nice stuff
>anything not in the direct centre of hay st/murray st really
>avoid anything like roger david, yd, ANYTHING like that
>general pants for swag fags and hipsters circa 2009
>shorts + tee or wifebeater + sandals or sneakers every day

>> No.9202168

literally none of you dress well and this is consistently the worst thread on the board.

>w2c shorts
>I need shorts inspo
>yeah just rock singlet and footy shorts that's what I do

It's fucking cold as on the gold coast right now. raining and windy. coldest december i've ever had here. wearing a rain coat in surfers right now heh

oversized singlet. loose jersey or cotton shorts with a slight drop crotch and some cool sandals or sneakers

living in australia is suffering for fashion.

no long sleeves ever.
no jeans ever.
tees everyday.
shorts everyday.

try some really thin cotton joggers. jeans/denim is no good for this climate except in the winter (even then there are better options)

sydney i shop at general pants because i can find basic bitch shit there, plus i'm a hairdresser and you have to dress minimal at my company anyway, i'm only a year on after finishing my apprenticeship and the money is still kinda shitty plus i've got better stuff i could use money for rather than clothes anyway

>> No.9202235

I live in Armidale, so it at least gets somewhat cold sometimes.
Unfortunately I'm at uni so I have no shekels so I usually only have shit CottonOn or Big W clothes. There's a decent looking menswear shop/tailor in town but I've been too intimidated to look because of aforementioned finances.

>>9202168

Australia is a Hell-hole with a small population, they feel the need to constantly be recognized and they're very vocal about where they're from so they can share their pain.

They're obsessed with being Australian and they know they hate it, Australia is the gutter of the world.

As long as you're not standing in the sun for hours at a time like an idiot, you can be comfortable anywhere in Australia without resorting to shorts and singlets.

If you find it uncomfortably hot, maybe you need to try pants that aren't made of polyester.

Perth is a breeding ground for cool ass people thou. Because if you are alternative in Perth you feel like a Warcraft 3 hero with a aura around your feet and generally we don't get court up with the hole copycat stigma that I think ruins a lot of fun trends in other larger city's. so people just get cooler and cooler in perth while every one in other places gets jaded or sticks to a "safe" fashion bet. Sure alot of people bail on perth but that just makes the ones that stay cooler imo.
