Hate posting pics but I asked before and forgot to save someones recommendations. Does anyone have hair that is thick and wavy like mine? I suppose its sort of like an undercut, but I only ever see pics of people with thin hair.

What products do you guys use to hold it back? I normally use crew fiber but, as seen in this picture, my hair starts to fall down mid day.

Coming from long haired man. Put your hair into pony tail, but on the last time you can pull your hair through only pull it half way. Then, twist the bun while pulling the rest of the pony tail. Excuse me if I messed up posting the file, I'm on mobile. Anyways I always get my hair just cut short. Now I'm trying to see if I can switch up styles. The bottom two pictures are of my hair when its dry and picked out, it usually looks tight and shorter when it is wet. I'm wondering if you guys think i should try to go for any of the looks above, and would they be achieveable of I relaxed my hair. I'm going to my stylist tomorrow. If you think sometime else might be suited for my hair, feel free to post advice, pics, inspo, ect.

I think I need a new haircut. I checked out the faceshape thing and I think I'm oval but honestly this whole thing is kinda out of my depth. So I posted a current pic and a "this is probably the closest I've ever had to something resembling fashionable" pic.

Any recommendations for haircuts that would look good? Lower maintenance would help because poor uni student but open to product suggestions too.

Any suggestions? I have thick brown/blonde hair with some odd curls forming to the sides and back of my head if my hair grows longer. Working on the babyface right now, exercising regularly, no snacks, energy drinks etc. and eating less than usually. Maybe growing a beard would work?

I have to echo the earlier sentiment. There's a lot of volume, not much defined shape and styling going on. It just looks like a solid, heavy mass, and doesn't actually do anything for you. Losing a bit of weight (not necessarily length) will improve it if you wanna do that messy pomp-y sort of styling.

My hair stylist recommended me some shampoo with caffeine for my thinning hair. She swears a regular of her washed regularly with that shampoo for 3 months and she says she noticed new hair growth on him. She has no stakes in the shampoo, and she's not selling it.

If you're looking for a styling creme or something to maybe ease the awk of your awkward phase, I'd recommend Rusk Flexible Styling Creme. It's pretty great for most hair types. Can control curls and bush pretty well while still keeping hair soft and FLEXIBLE obviously.

left is after showering if I let it grow out really long.
the two in the middle are right now and on the right is me with a buzzed head.

My hair "holds" a lot of volume when its dry so it appears a lot shorter right now than it really is.
Its kind of afro like.

Need some help with deciding on how to style/cut my hair. It's light as hell and sticks up if its less than 3-4 inches long, especially in the back. For the past couple months I've kept it short on the sides and back (tapered) while growing out the front and top but now I'm not sure. Any advice?

If i let my hair grow long (it was longer before) it stops being curly and turns flat and boring as hell unfortunately.

I'm going to cut my hair like Alexa Chung's (not too sure who she is besides Alex Turner's ex, but for all I know she is pretty and fashionable). I knw it will look good on me because I spent many a night juxtaposing her hair over my face. My question is, after I cut it that short (my hair is down to my butt right now) how I can make it super soft, shiny, and healthy? just general tidiness. try using argan oil and doen't just dry hair by rubbing the fuck out of it with a towel. use a defuser or try microfibre towel/paper towels. much more gentle on curly hair.
less shampoo; more conditioner.

my curls are larger (big thick curls; locks of irish highlands from father and thick hair from my filo mother) so don't know how well it'll work but at least give it a shot.
