As for jeans you will probably need to size up and get the waist hemmed and if this is the case you will either need the ankle hemmed OR you can buy tapered fit

To get jeans to fit you you should size up in the waist until the thighs fit you then take them to a tailor and get the waist hemmed I recommend the Levi's 508 or 521 as they taper at the ankle as they're a tapered fit

Forgot to mention if you think a pair of jeans is too tight on the thighs don't just dismiss them squat down in them to start breaking in the fibres you will be suprised how loose of a fit they may be over time
