does your hair need a lot of hold to achieve a result like that? Then you need something with a strong hold. Do you want high or low shine? search the keyworks on amazon by most popular and try it out. Most people wont know what products will work for your hair. I use http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003ZZKOWG but it might not be what you want. you're equipped with the tools to figure out what's best for you to be honest.

how to style? trial and error, work with a little, apply it to your hair. if you need more apply more. youre never going to get it right just following a guide. get the picture up and just work with your hair and the product until you get a reslt you like, every time you try you'll get a little better

I dont really know what you need a lesson to do though. If you see a bit of hair sticking up in a certain way, apply product to hair and style hair like that. I'm sure you could ask the hairdresser how they'd style it though.

why? it just looks so stupid and tryhard. why don't you just start with a nice pair of raws (i recommend naked and famous for the best quality and also a good price) some nice red wings boots, a few high quality flannels from banana republic or jcrew, a nice parka from carhartt and a few fitted t-shirts (not loose, it looks horrible, tight is better but only if you are fit)
