This was my hair about one week ago. The longer it grows, the harder it gets to manage/style without using any product (obviously). I almost have the desired length. Right now my hair looks slightmore fussy. I've heard people talk about shea butter before, but I'm not sure if that works for my hair. I usually see it applied to relaxed hair.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Would not trust that. I have very dry, frizzy, thick, wirey hair and I condition it every day and shampoo it about every 4 days now. I use a leave in conditioner every day too and straighten my hair before I go out on weekends but not during the week. It takes 3 minutes and really makes a difference with proper straighteners. I meant sweep not weep lel. My eyes were horrific when I first tried contacts. Could barely put them in my eyes and when they were in they were unbearable. Used to wear them for an hour a time and could barely open my eyes, unbelievably gritty but after a while, like several weeks they actually got better. I always tell everyone to go shorter on the sides so either do that or say "clean up the sides" and they'll know what you mean, it just makes it neater and fresher.
