why is feminism and the wage gap and shit important? I have one of those top ten highest paid STEM male dominated jobs and there is literally nothing stopping women from getting jobs there in fact there are numerous programs in place to try to get women to consider STEM careers and these programs and virtually ineffective

I'm a software engineer and most of the people in my office are well rounded normal adults with families and childeren and the vast majority of the HR/admin/marketing people are women so it's not really a sausage fest and I wouldn't say that my company is particularly forward thinking or progressive in that regard

The reason more women aren't in STEM field has nothing to do with a fucking shirt, it has to do with innate biological differences between the male and female brain. Various studies have been done on this, and I'd recommend looking at the sex-theory of autism work by Simon Baron-Cohen. He found sex differences in behavior and interest a single day after birth; it's directly tied to prenatal hormone production.

The shirt is just a fucking canard. Women have to justify their lack of interest in STEM by suggesting that there's a massive conspiracy against them keeping them from joining. The irony of it being that nearly all of the women complaining have Sociology and English degrees.
