What the fuck is with the sudden influx of shitty namefags on this board? Seriously, over the last 4 months, we've seen some of the worst trips and names in recent memory. And not only are some of them complete cringe faggots, to make matters worse it seems like there are two new namefags popping up every day. Seriously, go into a big thread, you will see at least a couple names you've never seen before.

Every newfag on this board who spends 3 months here seems to feel the need to get a name/trip and become part of le effay community XD. Most of them clearly don't belong. Does anyone have an explanation? I at least want to know why this board is being turned into a shithole.

i've been around for awhile and this is my opinion

i know ppl say this a lot but it's really true that most good trips/names left, they've all migrated somewhere else like sufu (please don't post on sufu)

i've also noticed there's less threads being made about designers and shit beyond how to dress

considering the quality of everything i'd say the average age of the people posting on /fa/ has dropped significantly over the years

it's not like this all matters anyway, this place was always really shit but, I guess it's been much shittier than before

in comparison, when poet was still around that was a pretty good time

there are probably plenty of people on /fa/ who don't own more than three pairs of shoes. i don't actually know who oioi is because i don't pay attention to namefields but i don't want him to leave just because he has an unpopular opinion here. /fa/ is a lot different from /fit/ because there is a huge variety of people who come here for different reasons and styles. /fit/, although it is "health and fitness" is essentially just a board about lifting now. it's hard to compare the boards' "communities" when /fa/ has a lot of subcommunities as well, and they don't fight among each other. everyone can get along. the kids who wear rick owens and damir doma get along with the kids who wear joggers and roshes and they get along with the kids who wear prep and they get along with the people who only own three pairs of shoes

I do wish there were way more designer threads, but honestly I don't mind a lot of the threads that have replaced them. It's just that, while the threads have good potential, they get filled with uninformed tards posting and shitting it up.

I do agree that the lack of high fashion threads is annoying. People don't seem to get it, you don't have to be able to afford designer to like it. You can appreciate a lot of fashion as art. And tbh, if you're some youth posting on 4chan, it's probably better like that. Look at most examples of waywt posters that wear designer, it looks awful. The clothes aren't supposed to be worn by them. Even pigfcuk is tall, relatively good looking but oh man does he manage to shit up a lot of creations.
