No causes acne

And is heavy

Takes away all volume

Just use redken, it's cheap, water baed and easy to use

Stay away from the places that buy from suppliers who engage in product diversion

I've been using the Pomade wax Layrite lately, it washes out easily and holds all day. It's water based too.

Holy shit , thanks for posting this. I knew something was up because I would always get acne problems when I styled my hair with this stuff but I just assumed it was because of something else like sleep or diet.

Deleted the other photo because it's not a good or recent picture of my hair. I'll take a better one come morning.

This is my hair. It's about seven inches on top.

It's extremely thick. What are some good products that add volume without adding shine? I don't want it to look hair-gel-crunchy.

Yeah dude the petroleum jelly in the pomade can (for lack of a better term) "clog your pores". Happened to me when I was on accutane and I'd put vaseline on my face before bed. I only got breakouts with the jelly on my face

I know the guys who makes this stuff. The guy who founded the company actually cuts my hair. I didn't think LayRite was that popular.
