It doesn't look /horrible/ m8. You need to keep a straight faded line on the sides so it doesn't expose your head shape, so short short hair is out of the question. You can try losing some mass on top of your head, and go for a more messyish kind of style. Use a hair dryer to give your fringe lift and use your fingers with a clay or fiber cream to give it separation. That should work out well, I think.

You don't have a bad head shape, I would try suggesting growing out a beard if you can. If you do choose to grow a beard, get rid of the disconnected undercut because the undercut + beard combo is overdone and looks weak now, because I just associate that with people who are insecure with their manlet-ey build. Grow your hair a bit out on the sides and back, not so it's shaggy, but so it's there and you have options (i.e go messy, or go out on the town with a slicked back sides and top style), that might do well for you.

Don't buzz, it works only for people with strong jaw.
Just buzz the sides and let the top grow out, try different styles during the process to find the one that you like the most.
Also, you should propably get thicker frames, because think frames do not go well with a slim face like yours.

You could use pomade, I've done similar stuff before. Try Murray's, and to get it looking real slick, quickly blow dry it in order to melt it down once you apply it. Works very well. Might need a little length for it though, if your hair is like mine and sticks out way straight until a certain length.

Ok /fa/ looking for advice for my hair/beard style.

Yeah yeah, I know, I've lost like 70lbs and I'm still working on it, well at least the fat part.

I'm not sure how to handle my hair. It's blonde and gets very curly at longer lengths (kinda forms a 90s skater kid bowl shape after a while). I'm sure you guys can tell that I also have a pretty big forehead and a high hairline. My facial hair grows at a pretty fast rate and I'm positive I can grow a full beard, just I haven't ever taken the effort since I'm afraid it'd look shit.

So should I go for a buzz or keep growing it out? and if so what style should I aim for? Also yes or no to both a beard and to glasses or contacts?

If it means anything to anyone I'm 6feet tall with blue eyes.
