working min wage at a pleb clothing store isn't either

>> No.8962268

I worked at Abercrombie & fitch for almost a year. Clothing stores are pretty chill in terms of hours. Their clothing can be decent, some of their denim and tees are good basics. A few of their plaids weren't bad either.

If you're looking to make better money work at Buckle.

I used to work there. It's not bad, and they generally look for friendly and out-going employees. My co-workers were all pretty nice and you get a big discount (60% off on certain things) on the clothes, although I hardly got anything). They also let you wear whatever you want, as long as it doesn't have a big logo and looks somewhat similar to what they have in store. If you get anything from there, just get their jeans. I own a black pair that are alright.

The store is for middle school aged kids (and a little bit of the younger high schoolers) going for that pseudo-prep look. With that being said, you may meet some hot high school sluts, but don't expect to be impressed with anyone who walks in.

I currently work at AE.
Hours are pretty shit if it's a slow season. Currently get between 4 to 8 hours right now. When it picks up, it's be closer to 16 hours a week.
40% discount. 60% on select items.
Our store is supposedly one of the most laid back in the company. We have a smaller store compared to most, so it's cool.
They'll want you to try & sell credit cards. I rarely bother, but again, pretty lax store.
No qt3.14s ever come in. Just the occasional girl you tell yourself you'd bang.
I don't like the clothes. I tried to get a job at Sunglass Hut and Express instead, but never heard back.

Relax dude, most guys here were the guys who were bullied, not other way round. But people are going to be harsh on the internet, its just what not having to see the person you're talking to does.

Try not to worry about it/take what anyone says too seriously, they're just randomly talking shit for the sake of it, mostly because they're bored.
