Have you seen the surgery they give people with it? It involves shoving metal bars through your torso and jerking them into place. It's not really a small procedure. Plus I'm pretty sure you're down and out for 6 months or so after. Unless OP's is Bradford Cox bad and it's interfering with his physical/mental health then I wouldn't worry about it. Just avoid tight fitting/thin shirts.

For real, you guys. I am going to play devil's advocate on this one. I had my excavatum corrected, but they fucked it up. Now I'm saddled with the most uneffay deformity, Pectus Carinatum. It's the absolute worst. My clothes hang funny, it's uncomfortable to hug qt3.14s and I can't go to the beach without drawing a crowd like the goddamn elephant man.
