I have a pair of old blue raw denim jeans that have faded to the point where the denim is too light for my taste.

I also have a new pair of raw black denim jeans that are yet to be washed.

If I put the old raws in with the new, would the colour running from the new pair of jeans:

1) Darken the old raws
2) Create patchy black areas on the old raws which look shitty
3) Do nothing

Retire the jeans or sell them on eBay

The will turn like a shade darker
I did this a while back like 4-6 months ago. Really gave life back into them but I got into a car accident and the emts had to cut my legs out the denim.
If you can post pics after you wash them together.

Yes. Like a shade and a half darker.
Really neat actually. I wish I got to take pics before the accident.
