poet was probably my favorite trip on this site. I'm actually super bummed that lunarcore died, it was pretty interesting and a lot of fun.

Right now this board seems more fragmented than ever though, at least before there was some majority consensus on what was good but now no matter what you post people will attack you for it

it was one of those fad trends that went around last winter, the idea was a sort of imagining of what people living in a more realistic space-age would wear. It focused mainly on muted gray, brown, and tan with white and black used depending on the specific feel the person was going for.

A lot of people dismissed it as cosplay and to some extent it was but it remained very wearable and some of the most praised lunar fits were actually pretty tame by /fa/ standards.

It was honestly a ton of fun, the threads were supportive and was a fresh and interesting new aesthetic.

It also gave rise to Poet, one of the best trips. He basically pioneered the idea of lunarcore and was always very friendly and helpful. Eventually the 4chan hate machine got to him after someone made a joke about his girlfriend having cancer or something and he left the board. His pics are still posted anytime someone tries to start a lunarcore thread.

Unfortunately the trend fizzled out like so many other 4chan fads and it usually just gets laughed at now. Which is a dam shame because there was a ton of room for it to develop.

>>8911229
I really liked him and had a couple of pretty good discussions with him, he was really friendly and the fact that he's been unheard of anywhere on the internet for so long is really sad.

yeah it really is, it was probably one of the most interesting 'substyles' that /fa/ has ever churned out, when poet left the entire thing just sort of faded out and I was really disappointed that it never really took off.

>>8911431
It perfectly illustrates the problem with /fa/, we're so fragmented that no matter what you do you catch shit loads of hate. Not saying hate is necessarily a bad thing, it stops this place from turning into an mfa style circlejerk but it also sucks. Eventually all the diamonds get tired of swimming in shit

Ankles are a bit to small to have the 'moonboot' aesthetic, but they look a bit like palladiums.

They look nice, and could be used in a lunarcore fit.

Knoch and Poet are probably the only people who've ever pulled them off. I'd argue that Knoch's fit is better, but you probably can't do as well as them anyway.
