It's not so much there are websites for this, but some stores will have collabs from time to time.
Radio Eva has them all the time, Gucci had one with Jojo, and Seiko made Lupin and Jojo watches recently.
As for shoes, Converse, Adidas, and K-Swiss have had quite a few from manga to games.

Depends what you mean by quality. Are you asking if the designs are printed well or are they comfy? I know the Omocat stuff is printed on American Apparel clothes and looks decent. Pretty comfy from first hand experience. That being said, the answer is probably none of the above. These are printed graphic tees man, not exactly high fashion.

the clothing usually sells out within a few days of release, there might be re releases but highly unlikely; keep in mind they release new clothes every few months/seasons.

if you really want to buy sold out ones check rakuten or yahoo jp auctions or something of the like but be prepared to pay a hefty markup for it

I'll tell you the quality of the tweed slip-ons when I visit the EVA store this weekend. Might get a pair myself. I own the Kawaru cardigan by the way. It's pretty nice, but kind of overpriced (like everything else from Radio EVA). Still, if you want something EVA that's good looking and nice quality, this is as good as it gets.

I did, but when the Aiko arc restarts back up in the ending chapters everything starts throwing me for a loop. He even comments at the end that he views Sachi as a "friend" and doesn't intend on treating her daughter as his own kid. Implying he doesn't feel any real romantic connection even though they had one in the past.

What chapter is the one where Punpun says that stuff about Sachi? I think I blocked it out of my memory in search of a happy end. Also, Punpun is still not over Aiko as the whole dream thing (your voice is a little fainter) shows.

At the very end like the last chapter or two he mentions to his long lost friend that he is not married. And a few chapters before when he has the dream about Aiko he starts talking about his current life and starts talking about his "friend" being successful in manga.
While Sachi right before finding Punpun with his eye cut out says that she loves him.
I was more happy in the one Sachi arc than I ever was in any of the Aiko arcs in the beginning.
It shares a lot of unhappy traits with Nozoki Ana. However Oyasumi Punpun is better written.

Not sure how /fa/ related this is, but I have the Sharp SH-06D NERV phone. It's got a pretty nice UI and overall design, whilst being subtle enough to conceal my powerlevel. It was ridiculously expensive, though and if you actually care about tech specs, I'm sure there's better out there...

I agree with you in that the tumblr-anime-core aspect is disgusting. If you walk around with a frame from webm related on some part of your clothing and _interact with other people without drawing attention to your clothes_ people will see you as confident and comfortable in expressing what you like without being as autistic as the sterotypical anime fan is, that is loud and unclean. You will still get funny looks as you pass people, but you can always just stare them down.

I should add I'm not actually this confident and probably couldn't do most of this, but it sounds good.

Rural-Japan-Senpai from >>8926179 here again. Still working on a name. Went to Tokyo over the weekend, with stops at the EVA store, an anime clothing store in Harajuku, and my favorite thrift store. Expect quite a few photos soon, but for now I'll post what I've got.

So the EVA store had basically everything you can find online, but also a few of their older clothes and some more souvenir-like things. Half the people were obvious otaku, but the other half were regular or even well dressed.

Unfortunately, if their stuff is sold out online, it's sold out in store too. And you can't buy things that haven't been released online yet early as well. That being said, definitely worth going to as a side trip.

I'll be responding to other posts shortly and then I'll put up the rest of my photos once I get back home.

I didn't figure your bag in the same color, but pretty sure it's the same one. Anyways, it's stiffer than it looks in the picture. It doesn't feel cheap, but it does feel like plastic, not cloth. If you're looking for something soft or cloth, pass. If you want hard plastic in EVA style, maybe. Personally, I'd save your money unless you're set on it.

I live about 5 hours away (45 minute bus, then 4 1/2 hour bus) from Tokyo. But it's surprisingly cheap back and forth, so I try to go once a month. Not going to say the name of my place, but it should be pretty easy to figure out I think.

It's called Ragtag. It's a thrift store dealing in designer brands. There's actually quite a few around Japan, with the majority concentrated in Tokyo. You can find everything from menswear (Brooks Brothers, Hermes), Japanese brands (Comme Des Garcons, Junya, and more department store names), and yes, Rick Owens Raf Simons, usually what I'm dressed in.

I spent about $200 for a nice coat, wool pants, and tweed vest. I was looking for winter clothes from Japanese department brands and found both. I always leave a happy customer, or at least with a lot of inspiration.

I've only been to the ones in Harajuku and Shibuya, but both times I was impressed with the variety, brands, and prices. The store had all the brands listed on the picture in >>8946508 and then some, including Japanese brands that aren't widely known outside of Japan.

I wouldn't say everything is great, but you'd be hard pressed to go in without finding something you like no matter what style you have. Also, don't know about the other stores, but the Ragtag in Shinjuku is tax free if you spend over $100 and you have your passport with you, so you can save even more.

I'd say acceptable, but not great. The tweed is very nice, both in looks in feels. However, the plastic on the shoe is flimsy and I can't really imagine them keeping your feet warm in winter. Socks would be 100% needed to wear these comfortably. I'd say pass if you don't like being cold.

Also found these K-Swiss NERV shoes nearby for $80. Very nice quality for the price.

Here's Asuka's bomber and Kaworu's coat. The bomber is very nice, especially the smaller details. Very warm and comfortable, but only available in black and also $600.

Kaworu's coat was pretty lame in my opinion. The twill material wasn't bad, but the coat wouldn't keep you warm or keep wind out. Okay for warmer climates, no good for places where it actually gets cold. It was also kind of shapeless, so maybe it'd be good for a more relaxed fit.

There were quite a few cute girls in the EVA store. Not only is there a lot of stuff for them, the department store it's located in has both clothes stores and a handful of anime stores aimed for girls like Free!, so there will very likely be a few good looking otaku girls around.

Yeah, it's seen as pretty pleb here. But the times I went shopping at the US stores (usually around SF), most of the customers I saw were old asian ladies, some college students, and a few fashionable people. With Uniqlo, their clothes are good, but their customer base doesn't have much taste on average. That being said, I don't like it stop me from picking of some of their tees and hoodies.

I applied to a lot of companies, did a lot of interviews, and chose this one over a few others. I was interested in experiencing countryside life for a year before I would find a job in a city, but I like here so much that I'm going to stay another year.

I did a study abroad in Kyoto, and cliche as it sounds, it was a life changing experience. I highly recommend giving it a shot, even if you don't plan on using Japanese in the future.
