I think that there is only one way this would actually work. You would need to focus on quality quality. Not only printing on nice shirts, but also using traditional silkscreening. Otherwise it's kind of uninspired and generic. Even if everything is off center, and black and white graphic tee isn't different from the norm. BUT that's just what I think.
