Not sure if it's the lighting but the furniture doesn't look very cohesive. Looks like a lot of different materials and colors, but that could just be image quality making it hard to know what's what. I really really really love your bookshelf though. Where is it from? My sisters have an overflowing collection and it would be nice if they added a shelf like that.

It's not really a cohesive room, pretty large but right now it's more of a place to stash furniture until I get a new proper place. Hell, I have a whole other room filled to the brim with design stuff I can't place. Desk is a massive monolithic structure that requires so much more space.

Bookshelf is an old Ikea Besta? unit from around 2000, I wish It was still available because it looks a lot better and is a lot sturdier then the obvious Billy and I'm obviously lacking shelfspace.

Any ideas? Ive got a huge Pollock in the mail (170cm*100cm) that I will put on the wall my bed is facing and I am currently considering three Rothkos (100*70) for the opposite side but I am currently not so sure about it.

You are completely right because the rest is in essence clutter I got from my parents because I just moved in and still have to decide on a desk, wardrobe and other elements of decoration. I am currently considering this wardrobe even though its made by Ikea and their quality isnt that great. The price is fine though and the colour somehow matches the bed's one.

it's basically just hero creeping for 2 hours straight in a 4v4 game...but with ads popping up inbetween games trying to sell you some "special edition" costume for $4.99

It's not really that expensive considering that board can be had for ~100 bucks.

If I had the choice I'd buy a smaller one but it works. I use it to mixdown those two keyboards on the right.

instead of rothko maybe go for some smaller egon schiele paintings. it's awesome to have huge paintings in the room but small and even minature ones make nice fine details
