1 and 2 look far more superior to 3 and 4.

The design is too detailed on 3/4, and it just makes it looks too busy in a way. Generally, simple, muted flannel designs are better. Contrast stripes and 3/4 are too thin and weird.

Would recommend copping heattech as well to compensate for how thin the flannels are. I still have 2 from last year (short and long sleeve heattech shirt) and they're max comfy

Maybe it varies with the exact shirt? I find mine really thick and soft compared to any other brand in that price range and most stuff that costs a lot more. I end up wearing Uniqlo over White Mountaineering just because it's so damn cozy.

I got mine the other day (took this before real I realized the sleeves had a second button). I think it looks pretty good, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Construction is better than expected, color is nice, but as others have pointed out, it is pretty thin. But, it is only 20 - 30 dollars a shirt, so I don't think you should expect any better in terms of fit and appearance. Overall, good autumn shirt, but don't be expecting to pick up any fine logs and build a cabin with it.
