As a guy who has had quite a few G-Shocks, I'll say that you're missing out on the confidence of wearing a G-Shock. The point of a G is that it's going to come out of any situation you wear it into intact. how would you rate them in terms of build quality? and how is the bracelet on the mvmt watch (if you had one with a bracelet)? do you wear them often and would you feel comfortable wearing them as a dress watch? and how did you feel about the tweed band on the rossling&co? i think i will probably switch it out for a leather band if i go with it.

right now i'm leaning towards the rossling&co for the slimmer design.

Cheapest homage of the Tangente, that's for sure.

It's pretty well built for the price.

>>8731155
Build quality is very good as expected of nicer quartz watches. I got the one with the bracelet but I couldn't get it to fit comfortably for me, I found the watch way too large to wear with a bracelet personally. Could be different for you.

As for everything else, I'd go with the Rossling & Co. watch. I liked the tweed watch strap, reasonably well built and leather backed so it is comfortable, I just much prefer nato straps. The size is much more reasonable than the MVMT too. It's way lighter, and just has a much more premuim feel to it in comparison. Also hard to beat that it's ~7mm thin.

For the record I backed the Ross&Co Kickstarter so I've had the watch for a while, and up until most recently it was my daily driver. I almost never wear the MVMT watch, so much to the point that I'm considering selling it.

Looking into getting a modded Seiko x Sinn homage. Love Sinn, but I can't cough up a grand for a 556.

Black or orange dial?

In the market for a tough field-esq watch. It's titanium and has a screwdown crown which is nice, good lume too. The orange is kind of a candied, shiny orange, not solid.

Keep in mind all the bands are interchangeable on the website- rubber, leather, nylon, etc.

I feel like the black would work with more outfits than the orange.

>WHY DO THEY FUCKING DO THIS?
Concerning the " QUARTZQUARTZQUARTZQUARTZQUARTZ" everywhere I think it's a throwback convention to when quartz was the new, shiny, fancy kid on the block.

Really just convention now, since there's no regulation that forces makers to put what powers the hands.

It is off putting on some otherwise very nice and plain watches.
