This might just be me but I find it a tad cringeworthy or possibly sad when I see someone wearing very stylish and well chosen clothes who have irredeemably ugly faces (severe acne scares, noticeably distorted features,very poor symmetry ect). I think you miss his point, though he phrased it very poorly. I wouldn't doubt if it were faux trolling but there's a point there.

When a person goes to certain lengths to improve their look and there are still things out of their control that might spoil their efforts, that sucks. You can only hope that they're confident enough not to mind, and that the people they surround themselves with aren't too shallow to mind either. Either way, props to anyone who can throw together a good fit, you can be a gorgeous angel and that means nothing if you don't know how to present yourself.

But if you got a funny looking face and you carry yourself well anyways, people will respect that. With the right attitude it goes from "bad" to "unique".
