I've been against the idea of a wallet all my life but I've gained a bit of interest lately.

I feel like I'd be more comfortable if I didn't keep all my money in the same place regardless of if I owned a wallet so what I had in mind was getting a slim minimalistic cardholder and a nice little money holder for my other pocket or bag pocket . Any suggestions on what I should go with ?

The quality is pretty good- I got it on sale .

The Snake skin on the outside is very crisp and pappery when you first get the wallet, but as you wear it in, it becomes much more leathery and soft.

The inside of the wallet is completely white, so after being in your pocket or wherever for a while, it'll be a little more dull, but overall I thought the quality was pretty good, I picked it up for about $230

I sell handbags and accessories at a luxury dept store. Cardholders and wallets are not the same thing.
Most people buy both. I've heard Asian girls giggling about someone who only bought a card holder because it was the cheapest thing.
Oh some designers have two different sizes of the wallets with the zipper you don't have to fold. There's one a little shorter for foreign currencies but it also will hold more bills in case you're stackin those papers. Many of the clients dislike the ones you fold because they won't take many bills.
If you're trying to impress, the small slp logo won't do it fuccbois. Gotta go big and not have only a card holder. I'm not just saying this to get you to buy te matching wallet and bag.

I don't even use any of the wallets I sell. I have a cigarette case I bought off eBay with a Salvador Dali painting on it. I sick ID and cards and a bit of cash and cigarettes. Easy as fuck and girls sometimes ask for a cig, say it looks cool, I ask for her number, sometimes leads to fun times. Met current gf asking for light.

According to girl coworkers, doesn't matter if you have a designer wallet but mall clothes and no cash in it. Looks foolish to be flaunting a prada wallet if that's the most expensive thing you own.

Oh also there isn't a ton of quality difference as long as your wallet is leather. I can usually tell when it isn't but for the most part the stitching is always pretty much the same. Gucci isn't more straight than Ralph. Type of leather can vary buy that's preference. Saffiano leather? Calfskin? Lamb, grossgrain, spazzolato, taurion etc

My personal favorites however are Bottega Veneta and Prada. Someone who knows will be able to tell BV weave or Prada texture without looking at the logo. It's more understated than Gucci monogram print or LV damier.

It's a material called toile. It's coated canvas fabric and not leather. It's what they use for most monogrammed goods from Gucci, LV, YSL etc. Also a lot of designer handbags such as Michael Kors, LV and Marc Jacobs are made from toile and not real leather.

The monogrammed YSL cardholder is made from polyurethane which is just plastic.

Make sure you buy real leather as it'll last longer, age better and feel nicer than the cheap plastic/canvas shit.
