Hi, yuropoor here. Since i have new job, where i am outdoor + dresscode, i am looking for solid and unobtrusive leather boots.
desired properties:
> 6"-8"
> Goodyear/stitched construction
> Oil/slipper resistant outsole (not leather, so i don't want Wolverine 1000 Mile)
> Minimal/no-padded colar (i hate, how it look)
tl;dr - something like martens, but durable.
in general workboots

Those boots are fucking chunky and hideous, looks like something a middle aged man in crysis would wear just to feel young again

pretty certain that these are oil/slip resistant. Dr martens have a good construction and last fucking ages. Would recommend these

Solovairs blow new Docs out of the water. Solovair originally made doc martens when they were still built well and made in Britain

I've been wear steel toecap docs to work 5 days a week for almost a year now and any damage is extremely minimal, theres a guy who wears 10 year old docs and they're fine even though they're creased as fuck

Doc Martens specifically fit large, so if you wear a US11, I suggest a Doc UK9 - accounting for both the fit and the scale difference. (That's only an example, but you should get the point.)
