What does /fa/ think of asos clothes? Are their basics or anything really worth buying from there?

>> No.8644671

It is a good brand for essentials, such as socks, lounge wear etc. Mostly the other brands are much, much better for everything else.

If you buy any own brand t-shirts/vests in 'regular fit' make sure you buy 1 or 2 sizes bigger than your regular size. They are cut rather small, and then shrink a lot after the first wash.

dont buy their fucking in house brand basic tees crew neck or w/e. the tag is itchy as fuck and you cant take it off w/o ripping the shirt and they shrink LIKE CRAZY even if u try not to.

>> No.8646324

>>8646289
The tag isn't itchy, they do shrink a little after a wash but when you wear them they stretch out after a while. I like the tees though they're form fitting. Just imo b

>>8646324
im a lil weirdo i guess, pretty much any tag itches me though. i also found the collar to kinda lose its form. idk. i like everlane tees a lot.

>> No.8646348

their actual products are pretty run of the mill eh quality but their website has a pretty awesome collection of designers you wouldn't hear about otherwise just Google "asos brands a-z" and it should come up on their main page you can do men's or women's whatever but it's a great research resource if nothing else

I never had the collar issue either.

You can also get some really good deals on asos with their regular discounts and coupon codes. Copped a pair of slim jeans last week and they're comfy as fuck

>> No.8646369

I gave up looking through Asos way back. There's no brand I care about there so trawling through so much crap just to get that odd nice piece was a pita.

copped some maha stuff on asos on sale for super cheap a while back, asos isn't that bad imo

Don't buy any of their sweats. The ass starts hanging after about two-three washes.

Thanks for the heads up. I was about to cop a pair of skinny sweats from there. Know where I could get some at a similar price?

Recently bought the two pack black/white long-sleeve t-shirt from there. Was hoping I could wear it by itself, but the material is really seethrough so everyone can see my nipples, and the "ASOS" tag on the back was really poorly sewn on and they used white stitching on the black shirt which is visible from the other side. Ended up drawing over it in marker.

Anyone know w2c better long-sleeve tees? Was thinking H&M or GAP.

Okay, overpriced as hell for what they are though

Weird ass fit, thin as fuck, not worth the money at all
>hoodie
Pretty good, the quality is nothing amazing but it fits well and is nice and warm

did you put them in the dryer? I hear that ruins a lot of sweats

>>8647642
Everyone keep mentioning sewn on tags. the ones I have an Asos print where the tag is, and the actual tag is next to my hip.

>> No.8648341

my friend got some jeans there. the ass hangs weird; makes him look like he's wearing a diaper.

Their home brand is nothing special but it isnt as terrible as people make it out to be
Fast fashion tier (topman, hm)
They sell some good stuff from better brands
