dress the part. research a little bit about the company beforehand and bring up the things you found out during the interview. say why you like the company. talk about how you'll be a good salesman/whatever position you'll be applying for. in my retail experience they don't give a fuck about anything as long as you dress well and aren't a social retard. source: work at j crew

just smile and make eye contact
having a lot of availability is probably the most important.
i can try to think of some of the questions they asked if you want.

also i had to take a drug test so don't bother if you aren't gonna pass one.

im doing training right now and it pretty strict. i guess it will soften up a bit but definitely a lot to take in.

one was like "give an example of a time you went above and beyond to help a customer?"

and another was like "give an example of a time you received constructive criticism and explain how you reacted to/handled it."

there were a couple more i can't remember. it was a pretty short interview tho like 15 minutes probably.

also it was a group interview, but it was just me and one other guy when i went. idk how big of groups they do.

Uniqlo just opened up at south coast plaza in Socal. I went in to see the sales team was nothing but acne ridden asian highschool kids. All they did was stand around on their phones. When I asked a question they just stared blank faced and pointed me to another sales assoc that didn't know.

it wasn't too bad. i doubt they would have done more than 3 people at a time and we didn't have to do any sort of "team activities" or anything. the interviewer just asked some questions to the other guy and some to me and some to both of us.
i guess it could be a little more intimidating if the other person(s) are doing a really good job or are super qualified or something, but the guy i was with was a complete dope so it just made me look better.
