Does anyone here have experience with SLP jeans? is the quality noticeably higher on saint laurent them?

>> No.8638309

Acne quality is ass, Hedi is a shit designer. Pick your poison

>> No.8638649

I have SLPs.

I've worn Acne's and I don't like them. lots of people swear by them but to me they have too high of a rise and they just fit like shit.

SLP and DH tend to use a lower rise, which im a fan of.

I've never owned or handled Acne, but own a few SLP jeans:

(MIJ) SS13 16cm with 2% elastane
(MIJ) FW13 15.5cm with 2% elastane
(MIJ) FW13 17.5cm with 2% elastane

They're my favorite jeans because of the cut and how they look on me. Unlike the raw selvedge jeans I own, I can actually use the front pockets without a problem.

Now getting back to your question, I can't complain about the quality as they're holding up quite fine.

I have 15,5cms and altough the fit is great they're kind of uncomfortable, even sizing up (from 28 to 29). How is the fit on 17,5cm? Are they very loose below the knee? I want some more comfortable jeans, without losing that skinny look, and I might cop another SLP jeans this season.

Can you elaborate? I don't follow denim *at all*, but I've always heard that Ace Cashes were the Internet fashion people's standard non-raw skinny jeans.

>> No.8640962

ripped jeans look like shit and they will tear easily thus will last less

Ace Cashes are edgy internet sufu standard non-raw skinny jeans. They're shit by every metric besides counting how many times your jeans say Acne™ on them.

So what's crap about them? They look fine in fitpics I've seen. Uncomfortable construction, something with the fabric, ?

Kind of makes me want to cop a pair and sew "Acne™" into them over and over again in repeating dots that look like pustules.

On second thought nah.

>made in china fabric that's essentially the same shit levis uses
>sloppy ass stitching, made in china or turkey or somewhere in the balkans usually
>priced to compete with japanese heritage

acne is zara for rich kids

So what happened to make them such an Internet hit?

How does the design stack up in the denim market?

I know these are basic-ass questions.

Its just the word of mouth and the fact that acne's jeans are probably one of their most well known products. When you buy a pair of Acne pants, you're paying for the fit above everything else and while the markup is ridiculous, They're not bad pants if you nab them sub retail. If you want cheaper denim with nicer sourced material, OL denim is worth it.
