No you're an edgy weekend warrior who thinks buying a motorcycle known for its ability to convert gasoline into noise without the annoying side effect of horsepower and everyone turning to look at you is admiring how "hardcore" and "badass" you are. But they're actually just irritated by the sheer amount of noise you're making.

Don't forget your leather chaps and skull bandanna when you ride that thing. Its a shame most places have helmet laws now so you can't wear your fedora while you ride.

Going from 250 carb to 300 fuel injec, netted 8 hp gain midrange.

The most fun you can have with your pants on. And what comes to being /fa/ on a motorcycle, I think it doesn't matter that much. Just mind your helmet and gear somewhat match your bikes colour and you should be good. Of course a cruiser or a classic style bike is also nice. Won't go as fast or be as agile as this one, but you enjoy slow riding.

The colors of modern bikes are the worst part. It must be the taste of the demographic, but I wouldn't give a shit how fast, reliable, efficient, or easy to ride a bike is if the stock paint job looks like something out of the original fast and furious movie. Some people like the flashy/flame colors, while others just plastidip their entire bike and keep the original paint scheme. Wait you said that you ridden pillion? that without a doubt is the scariest fucking thing, especially when the rider of the bike is experienced and goes in the corners really well. When you ride a moto alone, its a whole different state, because you are in control, you are one with the bike. Try it out yourself, if you are so scared there plenty of options to go about, power/displacement/stance/etc. But try it out, it won't hurt you if you treat it the way it suppose to be treated.

Another thing is, it depends where you live and how people react to motorcycle riders around you.

They split the day into 2, 6 hours, then 12 hours. and last 2 hours are the test. first 6 hours you read the book/watch movies and get "pop quizzed" then next day comes you start on a bike, there 12-15 exercises that you all have to do and they consist of 30-45 min each.

Is my motorcycle /fa/? I don't have a decent picture of mine, plus it's dirty as fuck. But cleaned up she'd look something like this.

no. that's /g/ tier.

pretty much the only fashionable bikes are cafe type and faringless sport bikes.

my opinion and your opinion are irrelevant because we actually know about bikes, the only opinion that's relevant is the people who don't know about bikes which is 95% of the population. it is what it is.

i literally have 2 of these in my garage, heavy as shit, the cylinder heads burn your knees if your taller than 6' and the electrics are terrible. One of the bikes caught fire because the electrics were so garbage, I'm replacing the harness on it

too old ride, had ducati 748, motor shit brix, (chrome on rockers flaked, oil pump picked up up and boom)

bought a used 996 motor to fit in between the fraim rails (fit with very minor modification following the ducati.ms step by step write-up)

when it was a 996, it had no fairings on it (both sides missing the 2 piece sie pieces, and the bottom V fairing, had the taillight and the headlight setup and a bunch of exposed saftey wire
