/fa/, there is different opinion on where to shave the neckline to, and I was wondering what the general opinion on here is?

Should I strictly follow my jaw line, or leave a bit on the underside of my chin?
This is only day 5 in as I needed to be clean shaven for an exam last week

using my hair clippers with no guard, i trim my neck in and upward motion until the clippers won't go any farther (because they hit the underside of my chin and will actually pinch my skin if i don't stop)

i find that this both looks good and is also really easy to get down as a habit because the potential pain reinforces the behavior

Put your finger below your chin and move it back until you hit your neck. This whole part should have beard on it. Shave everything below, on your neck.

i basically have still beard on my jawbone, everything below i shave with a straight razor.
beard is 6 or 7 weeks long.
shaving is a real pain now, have to lift the beard hair to not destroy everything. i really dont reccommend shaving this kind of beard style with a straight razor if youre not handy with em
