hey /fa i've just started a new job as an analyst for a big bank... i thought i would wear a suit the whole time but my department is more "casual"

so for that i need some good casual shirts, nice v-necks with a good fit, some nice suit pants or chino or jeans, some nice sweatshirts and good shoes - pls help me out also inspo would be nice

something like this would be perfect, you don't really have to spend much on chinos or jeans. just go to gap, banana republic, or old navy and you can find some nice ones for a good price. I don't wear suit pants, so i can't help you there.

I'm not so huge on dress shoes, but these are some nice casual ones. I normally just go with some nice sperrys, but i'm not sure just how casual your job is. Your safest bet is wearing something like in the picture.

Make sure the watch you're wearing matches your outfit. Normally this isn't a problem, but sometimes the wrong watch can look out of place, ruining the whole outfit.

Also, picking the right casual shirt, normally isn't too hard. just beware of plaid, 99% of the time plaid looks tacky. Just be safe, and don't wear it.

Are you OP? Are you new? Firstly, the average anonage (in case you couldn't tell) is still in highscool. Are you surprised?
Secondly, yes, everybody on here posting with money gets it from their parents. Do you think people really spend all day working, know enough to have a decent, fashionable wardrobe and then come home and spend all night posting on 4chan?

I have a similar dress code. I wear polos from Gap and Banana Republic almost every day now. Much more comfortable and relaxed than dress shirts. They're also not made from recycled tents, they don't have any logos or designs on the outside, and they're not made for fatties.

Hard to go wrong with dress pants. Just whatever fits best.

As for shoes, sometimes I'll wear pic related, but I have desert boots and sneakers that I also wear.

Lastly, Banana Republic socks are GOAT. I haven't seen any great ones recently, but about a year ago they had absolutely amazing socks. I think they stopped making them because they last so long.
