how do i get super cool hair like morrisey, /fa/? my haircut is very similar, although the top is a little bit shorter. all i want to know is how i should style it and what i should use

carpenter's glue or just bring pic of Morrissey on phone to your hairstylist and ask wat do? i mean it's had for /fa/ to tell you to do anything without knowing what your hair texture is like, how full it is and what it really looks like. if it's similar the only thing i can think of is buy a matte wax or clay, sculpt to desired style and end with a good finishing spray

Id say cut the sides shorter and let the top get a bit longer.

What I do is use some really light hold foam and spread that through my hair while brushing it all forward. Then I /lightly/ use heavy hold gel and start pushing the hair forward and straight up. Not really worrying about shape just yet, only worrying about getting the roots pointing in the right direction. Then I blow dry it to fluff it into the style I want. Sometimes it takes five minutes, sometimes 25, but it will finally flow right eventually. Then I take super strong paste, only a tiny dab, and put it through the roots only. This is most important on the very front to get it to stand up like that. Hair spray optional after that, I personally don't use any to keep my hair bouncy. It will droop a bit, but it can usually be pushed back in place or use a bit more paste.

My hair in the picture is honestly too long so it looks a little silly, but you can see the basic idea.

Its says maximum hold but its actually pretty light. I dont always use the foam, but I think it helps the keep its shape longer. Its also easier to get into the roots.

I think a simple pompadour would look pretty great since your hair sticks up well. Just brush and gel it back. Cut the sides super short for trendy look while its still cool.

I usually have a pomp. But not the modern fluffy look. I used pomade (not greasy" & bitches loved it but my hair is too short atm. Should I go back?

Ive been wanting to do that for a while. Sticking it up will make you look younger, slicking it back just right will make you look older. Not always, but thats how I decide what to wear it with. I usually do the opposite of what Im wearing. Clean suit, messy stickty uppy hair. Laid back anything, clean and tight pomade.
