the only thing the dadcore spammer in 2012 did was change the fundamental view that #menswear was the only feasible way to dress, which lead to acceptance of gothninja and streetwear; the emergence of these styles didnt force anything out. since then, /fa/ has been a streetwear/high fashion. the only time /fa/ was ever predominately monochrome was during the street goth phase of late 2012/early 2013, when people were buying fabrixquare sweats and actual pain snapbacks. since then, /fa/'s been mostly just general streetwear, and the acceptance of "normcore" modes of dressing for the majority of 2014 is evidence that there isnt any rift because monochrome is far from the majority. look at any waywt for the past year and a half and youll see that more than half of the time its not monochrome.

the conflict you see is due to the reaction against someone, probably you, forcing a meme (palewave) down everyones throat, even though the "trend" doesnt meaningfully describe anything outside of a color palette. youve then taken this to conjure a monochrome boogeyman thats trying to stifle some supposed innovation thats actually nothing new and something thats been long accepted on /fa/ already. once again, no one has a problem with color, as shown time and time again, but youve constructed this narrative whereby anyone who disagrees with the palewave shitposting is obviously a memeochrome richard owens fans, even though theres nothing to support that, and youve become so lost in your own rhetoric that youre completely out of touch with reality.

Just copped Red wing 875s after wanting them for ages. They are amazing except the heel slips significantly when i step. The woman who owns the store who sells them said this is very normal and when the shoes are worn in my foot will be pushed towards the bac of the shoe stopping the slipping. But if it doesn't im shit out of luck...
