Frat boy here. There's maybe like 3 guys in my house that actually dress prep on occasionally and they look terrible because of how low their fashion sense is. Everyone else dresses like shit in their own way without resorting to this psuedo prep nonsense. I've only seen a select few guys from other houses that can pull off the look well, but that's it. Everyone else can't dress.

I don't know why you give frat boys such bad rep. The university I go to has tons of fashion plebs as it is. It's not like I'm really moving anywhere when I go to a frat.

mostly hate comes from jealousy. You dont have to like it but hating just shows how you really feel.

I like preppy and started to dress like it because i like the style and it fits me. I dont go for brands and dont feel the need to show off a logo but they have all i want and better quality in general. i just get them at sales because i dont shit money. got a nice cardigan for 28€ instead of 70 during the summer sales (not pic, that's a cheap one) and much more stuff.

We dont have that kind of scene in germany anyways so people dont think you're part of something you're not = not a tryhard or fake.
