Wow, it looked way bigger on those first photos you posted on /fa/. It's pretty comfy now even though that huge empty industrial look it had in the beginning was cool too.

I'm planning on moving as well. A long and narrow dorm room with a mezzanine for the bed is what I have my eyes on. Nice rustic wood floor. Too bad the kitchen is a mess. Will post pics when I decide to take it.

It's cheap and they have a lot of options and colors. I have a black malm bed, which is a pretty basic, angular -and /fa/ish. Mine has a headboard but you can get it without.

/fa/ seems to think having just a mattress on the floor is hip but if you're over the age of 18 you probably shouldn't do that.

IKEA is kind of stigmatized here, but it is what it is. If you're the kind of person who's going to cry if someone calls them out for having an IKEA bed then don't get one.

They're fun to assemble too. At least I think so. I played with Legos a lot when I was a kid.

First year I moved with a bunch of unknown people (the owner rented the flat per rooms) and there was a psycho bitter woman that drove me nuts. My room is missing a fucking bed frame low to ground. I just bought the simple metal frame until I find a low bed frame. That was 7 months ago, why the fuck are European bed frames are so hard to find in the states?

With the language itself, well I went to a language school for half a year, after that I went back to the states and kept up what I learned with exchange students. If anything they allowed me in their groups, after that I lived with a Japanese girl (housemate) and she help me keep it up and more. Recently I took the N2 though most likely failed it, though I will be retaking it. During the winter in which I came back after my language school and in my Uni back in the states I met my current Japanese gf whom was/ is studying abroad. I'm mentioning this for the fact that I kept up my Japanese this way and expanded it.

If you want to learn the language, drop those horribly distributed Genki books and pick up Minna No Nihongo and Books geared for the exams. Also, I don't use English with Japanese here in order to keep it up and continuing improving it.

Japanese in general are somewhat fake, this is simply having to due with their fucked up beta culture, do I like Japan? I like Kyoto and all that old shit, do I like Japan for what it is now besides the technological advance society that it is? no.

Yes, if you only speak English, I have met people out here who have been here for years and still can't speak the most basic of sentences. Those are the fucks you don't want to spend time with. I avoid other foreigners like the plague and rather get into Japanese clicks or other non speaking Japanese Asian groups just so I can speak more Japanese. (This is all so I can pass the fucking test)

Furthermore, regarding fashion , most girls here dress far better than those back home. You see various styles here from cute (which disgusts me) and girls dressed up as though they are already house wives and sexy women who dress classy which I prefer most. As for guys, well their beta faggots and it shows in their faggoty styles.

I see cuties all over, question is how old they are, so I try not to look at the questionable ones.
