I too would like sunglasses advice. I personally want to cop some quality Teashades for not a lot of money. Are sideshields or flip up lenses effay?

>> No.8536301

wayfarers are safe as heck

polarized is more functional if u live in a sunny lands

aviators are good if they are ray bans and not knockoffs and you dont have a total baby face

teashades are not dynamic but if you can make them work then do you bruh

clubmasters you'd need to try on to tell if you can work them

Find out what the shape of your face is, and figure out what sunglasses correspond to that shape. Then, go to any sunglasses store and try them on. See what you like, and buy accordingly. Keep in mind what kind of outfit you would wear with them.

That's really all there is to it.

Teashades can look pretty autistic if you don't have the outfit and face-shape to pull them off. Play it safe and try them on somewhere first.

Sideshields and flip-up lenses both look horrible and autistic. Don't do it. *Unless* you've got an outfit that really makes them work. Which it probably won't.

How would you know if the outfit could be improved with sideshields or flip ups?

Normally, I'd say just to look at outfits that are well-balanced that incorporate tea-shades, but there isn't a lot of inspo for tea-shades. Especially with sideshields/flip-up lenses.

So I'd say to find outfits that you believe are well composed and balanced, and consider whether or not adding tea-shades would throw that equilibrium off. No one piece in an outfit should stand out in an awkward way that draws attention away from the rest of the outfit (a.k.a. it's balanced).

By the way, do you know what kind of tea-shades you'd like to get?

I'd like a pair with silver frames and darker lenses, or perhaps a gold frame with green lenses. It didn't occur to me that there were other things to consider. How exactly do you mean?

Where does everyone get solid quality Wayfarer style sunglasses? Not genuine raybans because I'm not looking to spend too much, so anything under 20 bucks would be nice. Online retailers that ship within the US are preferred.
