what the fuck is this now?

Zara just rips off real designers, so anything you like from there can probably be found by a high quality designer. You gotta post specific pieces for answers though.

Is this stuff good enough quality for like a midfag?
I can't really afford going to higher quality designers. I'm browsing and some of it looks pretty good.

hope ur joking, there was a reason for the sale.

no, quality of the fastest of fashion goes like:

shit > h&m > pull & bear > bershka > zara

>> No.8510391

>>8510389

how can there even be stuff worse than H&M, that shit is already disposable level quality

>>8510374
well it's called 'fast fashion' for a reason
Zara tends to make cheap knockoffs of trendy items that are designed to fall apart within a season or two so you go back and buy the latest fad from them. I don't personally have experience with their clothing because no Zara here, but their reputation is really bad.

I remember being so upset bringing like $200 cash to a zara after browsing their website the night before.

I got there and saw everything in person and was amazed by how bad the quality was.

>> No.8510494

it's really not that fucking bad. you spend like £30 on some jeans so what, what do you expect. most people with their head screwed on don't give a damn about buying designer pieces and just want the aesthetic quick and cheap, if you're so concerned about top tier latvian silk in your socks then you need to actually have a disposable income (read: buying lanvin tees when you're eating pasta everyday is not having a disposable income) or you're just the actual definition of a fashion victim

Irrelevancy must really hurt you but you don't know how to fix it.

>>8509993
Their quality really is not that bad considering the prices. If you follow current fashion shows and brands you can see where they get all of their styles from. Then they add in street trendy shit and have it all made in sweat shops. I've never had any of their pieces come undone on me and I've owned about 10 different shirts/bottoms from them as well as a pair of sandals.

>> No.8510518

>>8510508
i agree with your last point, i've owned so much shit from zara and none of it has ever ripped or got broken. even got a pair of oxfords that have lasted me for a couple years now.

>> No.8510525

>>8510389

lolwut

pull & bear and bershka were created by the same guy that created zara. the only difference is that they were aimed for a more young/teenager public. do you really believe the quality is any different? If anything they'd put a bit more of effort on zara, which is the flagship.

>> No.8510584

Used to work at Zara we would legitimately get some damaged clothes straight from the factory but some of our less gaudy stuff was legit ok quality for price

hey, do you have to buy a zara suit or do they give them to you free if you get a job there?

how easy is it to get a job there and is it fun? what discount do you get ,etc?

>> No.8510593

>>8510590
They give you a suit after a few weeks, easy as fuck to get job just had to fake charisma (it was my 2nd job at 18) fun coworkers/ niceish managers/ some cool customers, 15% discount (worked there for 6 months didn't get it til last 2 weeks before store closed for renovation) shitty Nigerians and gypsies made days awful & busy as fuck store

>> No.8510601

>>8510525
quality does not depend on what you think it does, it only matters what factory the shit was made in. These brands try to make the cheapest possible clothing.

>> No.8510628

>>8510601

so what? they're owned by the same fucking guy i'm pretty sure they do all their shit in the same place, or even the same factory.

idk about you but I live in Spain (where all these stores started) and there's one of them in every single town with a decent population. i'm pretty sure i've been way more times than you in a zara or pull & bear (maybe not bershka, bc it used to be for teen girls) and i've seen way more people dressed by them on the streets. it's not just that zara is not worse but i'd even dare to say it's better.

>> No.8510647

>>8510593
thanks, did you work at the one in houston btw? thats the one i went to but they closed for renovation as well, i think they were adding a second floor to make it much bigger or something. Also there were a fuck ton of gypsys or pakis whenever i went ha.

>> No.8510763

>>8510374
It depends. I wouldn't go buying their more expensive stuff because it's just not worth it, but I don't see anything wrong with spending £20 on a pair of sweatpants when an alternative from Wang or Acne will cost 10x that amount and to me is not 10x better.

My advice would be to buy one reasonably priced thing you like the look of, see how it holds up and come to a conclusion yourself.. Don't let /fa/ trick you into spending outside of your budget, and remember, in the real world people don't come up to you and say haha look at this guy, his clothes aren't even made in Italy. There's nothing wrong with a bit of fast fashion.

>> No.8510847

see how they're rated one after another? that's to put an emphasis on the fact that inditex put extra effort into manifesting the largest shit through zara

stop trying to justify your shitty purchases

>> No.8510990

>>8510647

there are almost 2k zara stores in the world what does make you believe this random guy worked precisely in that one?

>>8510847

i'm not trying to justify my purchases. the only thing i have ever purchased from zara is a bomber for sth like 30€. guess what, it's one of the best pieces i've ever bought for that price.

i think i have a lot of clothes by zara from when i was a kid because my parents used to buy my stuff there, but that's another story.

and i'm definitely going to try on those biker jeans one of these days. what else can i expect for 40€.

>>8510763

Pretty much this. Not everybody is a spoiled rich kid that needs to wear 2k€ in clothes over him to feel secure. I could build a entire wardrobe entirely from Acne, Norse or whatever right now but why the fuck would I? I'm a student, it just feels stupid to spend my money in something so shallow.

Are their shoes absolute ass quality, like H&M ass quality, or at least a bit better?

I know their basic blazers are pretty great, their joggers feel like good quality as well.
