Hey, FA. Going to my first concert ever and suddenly, the day before, I'm terrified I'll be a fucking idiot and dress horribly. I'm going to a modest mouse concert, specifically. I figured i'd wear a tee shirt, a well fitted blazer, a pair of dark colored jeans, and a pair of chuck taylors. Am I being a fucking idiot with this outfit?

general things to consider:
-don't wear a blazer casually unless you are 100% sure u can pull it off
-dont wear a blazer to a concert man

(cool band) tee, jeans and shitty plimsoles are general concert wear, altho oxfords, flannels or sweaters r nessecary sometimes due to weather. :)

have fun man, modest mouse is still one of my favourite bands. :)

Ah yeah, ok. I'm not sure if I can, I have a cropped blazer with two buttons. Supposed to sort of hide a large chest, which is a good thing for me. Plus my arms are usually cold, but I have no idea if that will apply in this situation.
And yeah, I can toss on a nice band tee instead. Someone I know suggested a short dress and heels but there's no fucking way I'm going to a concert in heels. I'm not that dumb.

nevermind whatever i just said, guys tend to look autistic in the blazer & graphic tee combo, and it tends to look alright on girls, still oversized/chunky sweaters r cooler. :)

Hey, I was about to go there too. But I didn't get off of work.
I did see them at the same venue a couple of years ago though.
I'm pretty sure most of the girls wore a dress with a jacket overtop. I'm sure you'll look okay. I'd change the blazer for something more casual though.
I was packed in the front, it was hot as shit and everyone was jumping around and dancing and shit.

Literally no one cares what you're gonna be wearing. You'll be packed up with some sweaty people in the dark. No one gives a fuck. They're attending to watch the band(s), not you.
Standard dress is converse, band tee, and jeans. That's it.
Don't wear a blazer unless you're watching Josh Groban or some other queer band.
