Rarely, in the end it's your own responsibility. Works the other way around too. Ssense appears to be relatively cheap compared to EU based retailers. They even offer free shipping (ALL CAPS, BOLD, FALLING GIFS) without a mention of duties. On a bright side Luisaviaroma ( Italy based) are one of those few select retailers which offer free returns, free shipping and import duties included in the price - for mmericans.
