I have v similar hair.

If you don't want to do no-poo, which I don't do, put some strong af pomade in your hair (I use Murray's) before your shower then wash your hair thoroughly, say 3 times, and then blowdry backwards. It will have a thick, moveable texture that doesn't look like it has product in it.
