can you expand on this a little bit? the only effect i've seen normcore have on this community and a few others is making light wash jeans + CPs/sprayed 1461s into a popular look (which i'd argue is a combo of the whole k-hole fiasco & patrik ervell becoming more popular) like i haven't seen it manifest itself as anything more than another fashion trend

(maybe down to the fact that i'm experiencing this on the internet) i haven't really encountered anyone engaging with any 'ideology' attached to normcore in the way you're describing... i'm sure there are dorks that are REJECTING FASHUN by wearing lightwash and ugly new balance but i guess what i'm asking is where are you seeing evidence of that being their goal (on 4chan, irl, wherever)
