How do you wash moisturiser off?

I have this weird problem where my moisturiser is staying on my skin and then after like a few days it turn into what looks like dead skins cells in my face but it's actually just dried moisturiser and then it forces me to exfoliate but because I have sensitive skin exfoliant fucks up my skin and it's annoying because I have to moistuize after I shave or otherwise my skin dries out

So it's like a constant cycle of finding a product to correct the imbalance another product is causing

I know for a fact if I use no products It wouldn't happen but then I can't shave?????????

moisturizer does not sit on top of the skin for days. what you think is dried moisturizer is probably just dead skin.
