planning on getting this epperson mountaineering climb pack when i can find it in olive overdye
I like that it's a bit more practical and less spartan than like a classic chouinard day pack or something similar, but a little less modern looking than offerings from Arc'teryx or other modern outdoorswear brands. Looks quaint and utilitarian, just hope it holds up outside for hiking and general other use

what do you guys think about tote bags. i've seen some i like, but i dont know if it looks gay if men carry them. i mean, i personally dont think it does, but just looking for opinions. tote bags just seem more convenient for carrying school books and a laptop since they are all accessible through the top at all times and more can be fit. i find myself getting annoyed by having a huge bulge on my back when riding the subway or bus since i live in the city.

>>8370362
pretty gay in my opin, could be great but it depends on your whole fit working with it, your body/height, and the actual bag.

Hmm, you could probably cut either the straps and break off the plastic rings, or carefully cut the threads where they're attached to the bag. Or if you can cut/break the plastic rings, you could keep the straps and potentially reattach them later via carabiners or something, if you wanted (or decided to sell it and the buyer wanted them)
