So I'm planning on dyeing my hair white.

its easy to do. you're going to need to use bleach plus peroxide (i guess 40vol perox since you have brown hair) and leave it on around 45 min to an hour. After that condition the shit out of it for a few days, then do it again. It should look urine yellow then. That's maximum bleach. Then you need to dye it violent to remove the brassy yellow tones. Use semi-permanent toner/dye so if you overshoot it then purpleness will come out after a week or so. Good luck.
