Hello /fa/

I have a job interview at a high end fashion store next week. Should i wear something formal, or something that is similar to what they sell in the store? the job is in the marketing department.

I think it depends a lot on the types of brands they carry, as general advice i'd say try to look professional about it, but I think wearing clothes from brands they sell would be a plus.

I work in marketing for a firm that handles a few key designers and I would not recommend wearing the designers the store represents. You're applying for a marketing position not to work in a store. Dress fashionably with other designers. Make a statement about yourself and let them know you didn't just study their store but you have the knowledge and style of someone with a passion for fashion. Also, have a firm handshake and don't try to show off in conversation.
