Hey /fa/,I don't come here often, and I'm posting in /g/ as well, but my friend and I found this sewing machine in a free pile and it's fully functional. Does anyone know the make and/or model of it and where I might be able to find a pdf of the instruction manual? Also, the minute I plug it turns on and is set in like turbo mode and I'm wondering if anyone knows if i can turn it off or if this is some problem it has. Plz and thank.

how do you even secure the main thread on it?

looks complicated as fuck, i rather have ye ole Liberty (pic related)

can you open the cover? i think is the same mechanism, also that button on the right switches the speed o the stitch lenght, same happens with the other button on the elft, maybe the one in the right controls the speed and the one in the left controls the stitch lenght

also be careful, if it's really old there can be electrical issues with it, you could get a shock. i'd clean it and sell it as antique, or take it to a sewing machine repair shop if you want to keep it, old machines are really hard to service and set up compared to new ones
