OP, I've self-harmed a lot, and have scars covering my entire body. I've found honestly that the best thing to do is just not care. It's been done and it's there, and anyone who's gonna give you trouble over shit who knows how long ago you did and probably for reasons that weren't very enjoyable in the first place is just a dick. You could use bio oil to help heal up the scars. I know it wont get rid of them entirely, but they kinda make the scars turn the same color as your normal skin tone and make them a lot less noticeable.

In the mean time you could use that shit people use to cover up tattoos or even foundation make up if you cant find it.

I've used that before, amongst others; paintball (played a bunch worked at a field, not far fetched despite the straight clean cuts) and working at the frame shop handling glass.

the ones on my leg I don't have any remotely believable excuse for so that's when things have to get weird. luckily theyre high on the outside of my thigh so not easily seen.

anyway on my legs the scars are like yours but more purplish though getting lighter.

I know that places like the leg have people like "youre crying out for attention" because I wasn't actively trying to kill myself, but for me it wasn't about trying to kill myself, just wanted to do damage.
