Sup guys, halp. I usually wear a buzzcut, but it's grown a little longer and I've been wanting to try an undercut/hitler youth/what have you. I always do my buzzcuts, so I'm wondering, is the undercut simple enough that I can do it myself? Should I have a specific length of hair before I try it? As I said, halp

Are you me? Today I went to the barber to get a trim on the sides but left the top alone, I've only ever gotten buzz cuts my entire life, literally since I was like 2. Trying to get a pompadour myself.

This is what I'm doing, since I usually get a fade, this is pretty much the same hair cut except I let the hair on the top of my hair grow out. So I'm just gradually cutting the sides of my hair and letting the top grow out, since I've always had short thick hair with buzzcuts and never had loose soft hair I'm putting a few different products in my hair to make sure it turns out that way when I grow it out.

I'll probably have shitty hair for the first few weeks for however long it takes for my hair to grow out but I think it will be worth it.

you will have to constantly adjust it and go into the bathroom to fix it up probably twice an hour, I had hair like this and it was absolute hell to keep it looking good

If you even think about going to an area where it is AT ALL windy, your head will look like shit, absolute shit

this. i had hair very similar to this and it was a pain in the ass
>atleast 20 minutes to get hair just right every morning

>going through 2 bottles of expensive hairspray every month
>wind above 10 mph had potential to fuck up your hair for the rest of the day
haircuts with long ass bangs like that tend to be VERY hard to pull off

if you have long hair and you don't spend 10+ minutes styling it each morning/afternoon it will look like shit

For me this worked wonders when going for a chaotic long haired look.

Just go through your hair with your hand every so often and it'll always look good and different.
