I'll be honest and say that they're not great. These are the type of adidas shoes which are marketed as 'consumer shoes'. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just that they wouldn't exactly classify as fashion. Shoes like those are mostly worn by teenagers who don't really care about what they're wearing so they just buy the first pair of adidas sneakers they find. I would rate adidas shoes like Stan Smith one tier above these, top tier adidas shoes would probably be Yohji x adidas.

I feel your pain man. It really sucks when some one gives you something clothes related as a gift. My grilfriend's mom gave me some $20 ironman sunglasses and I used the gift receipt to turn them in a week later and used it towards some Clubmasters. Felt pretty bad about it, I'm like trying to not let her see me wear them.

My dad bought me an ugly swiss gear laptop backpack and I had my fjallraven one on during a hiking pic on facebook and he asked why I wasn't using it.

A year later he asked me if I still had it and I had been using it as a gym bag and dropped a weight on it and broke the plastic strap adjuster. I told him so and he told me to look for a replacement on their website.

I would almost consider wearing that backpack just to make him feel good, but yea it's almost as if you need to tell people that since you've gotten into fashion, they need to stop giving you clothes, you'll seem like a dick no matter what lol at least to them.
