been using jojoba oil as a moisturizer, with ordinary salicylic face wash

was using 100% tee tree oil, but that broke me out in horrible acne, and even a couple of deep cystic ones about 2 days ago

been taking vit D, n fish oil for a couple of months now.

started zinc recently too, probiotics once in a while.

jojoba oil is amazing so far, skin is sure on its way to being clear

How bad is bad?

Mine was pretty bad for 4-5 years before I finally went and got accutane. After 3 months I've been pretty much pimple clear for 4 years.

Now I'm stuck with all the scars forever for not taking care of it right away.

It's basically the nuclear option for getting rid of accutane.

Has a lot of bad press but a lot of people loved it and it worked for them.

I'd talk to a dermatologist about what may be your best option. The only advice you're going to get from retards on here is change your pillow cases and drink water which won't do shit if you have problem acne.

I've found Dr. Bronner's soap with tea tree oil makes for a good face wash.

Retard general:

Use ketonozacole (anti androgenic and fights inflammation. Double whammy) shampoo as a facewash. If you cant handle it dwily alternate with head m shoulders 1 percent zinc.

2 get tretinoin 0.1 percent. Its prescription only so order online. If you cant get it get a 2 percent retinol & 0.1 percent retinaldehyde cream.

Use a spf 30 moisturuzer when you go in sunlight.

Also get sunlight. And supplement 5.000 uid vit d.

When applying the cream, kinda pat it in instead of rubbing. Rubbing is irritating.

Keep your hands of your face at all time

Keep your hair out of your face at all time

Clean pillows or wrap a towel around them.

Take zinc supplements. 50 mg daily.

my routine:
am
-wash with water
-moisterize
-sunscreen
pm
-cerave foaming cleanser
-stridex red pads
-cetaphil in the tub moisterizer

skin is almost clear. the worst mistakes people make is not using sunscreen or using "face washes and scrubs". chemicals like BHA's and AHA's need time to work and the 30 seconds you wash your face with is nowhere near enough time for salicylic and glycolic acid to take effect. additionally sun is damaging to skin and prevents proper healing to skin lesions like acne and especially scars. do not wash more than once a day as it will over dry your skin which will lead to excess sebum production that causes many types of acne. if you are over 20 and still have acne see a seem for a retinol or accutane. if you are under 20 see a deem and see what you can do to help it but chances are it is probably causes by hormones and you will grow out of it.

You won't.

In the end it all comes down to genetics.

Besides since you had acne you are pretty much " marked " for life, compared to someone who never had acne. Some scars will never fade away etc. So achieving a clear ass baby skin is highly unlikely, that's all i'm saying.

Though you can do the same thing as girls, and use a light powder, same color as your skin, to make your shit look better. I did it for about three years.

It was oily and dry at the same time if that makes sense. Now I rarely feel the need to just wash my face where before my skin was so bad I needed to several times a day. Not sure how to describe it now other than I have no complaints. To be fair I'm not really picky I'm just super happy to have no more acne especially the scarring kind that I was getting.

Yeah my skins kind of the same actually.
I have a strict skincare regime which I hate. All my friends do nothing but are still acne free. Wish I could be relaxed about my skin.

Hopefully Accutane will enable that. Although I'll probably still take good care even IF I'm ever acne free.

Okay /fa/, here's my skin at the moment.
All the "spots" at the moment are red marks where spots used to be, not physical spots.

My skin always seems to be oily even though I wash it all the time. I haven't drank coke or any sugary drink in at least a year (besides tea).
I never eat take-out or fast food, avoid chocolate etc, drink plenty of water.

I'm on (not right this second) benzoyl peroxide and have been for ages, I've stopped using it for a few days since it makes my skin peel off like fucking crazy, it does it all the time then I take a break.
Doesn't seem to help that much.

Going to a doctor about my eye on Monday, I'm gonna speak to him and try to get on accutane.
My skin is so fucking shit.
I doubt acne.org would help that much and I can't be asked spending money, would rather just get accutane and get it over with.

Basically

Knew I should have reworded that.
I'm seeing my doctor or an eye doctor about my droopy eye, but I can also ask about my skin I guess, he'll just put me up the ladder to seeing a derm.

I started by going Specsavers and they contacted my doctor, so.

Quit whining, it's not bad, I've seen far worse and you have red spots only near chin unilike some(including me) people who have it all over the face. Get accutane though, the only way you can fix this shit.

>> No.8199995

>>8199941
I'm the guy further up asking about accutane^. Here's my quick guide to getting prescribed it.

- Sort your eye shit out first.
- Ask your GP if you can talk to him about something else
- Talk about how your skin issues are having an effect on your life. he needs to know it's affecting you mentally.
- Tell him you've tried topicals with no progress.
- he will most likely refer you to a derm.
- See derm, tell them the same things.

This is basically how I got onto it. be patient though, i had to do ~1.5 months of some other shit medication that did nothing. your skin actually looks fine though, might be a bit tricker for you since it's basically clear anyway.

Thanks man, that's really helpful.
It does affect me mentally I think, I feel like absolute shit with it.
I went out the house once when my skin was falling off all over the place and it was all dried up, I could see people staring and it just made me wanna hide.
Acne is shit (especially their derbies).

I've been using a method for the last six months that has worked well

If the root of your acne problem is excess oil you can take megadoses of Vitamin B5, also called Pantothentic Acid. It does the same thing Accutane does but it's way safer. Accutane works by permanently shrinking your oil glands with huge doses of Vitamin A, but it doesn't just shrink your oil glands, it also affects your joints, tear ducts, and other moisture producing membranes, and huge doses of Vitamin A are horrible for your liver. Vitamin B5 works by reducing the amount of oil your body produces. Not only has my acne been significantly reduced, by my skin is nowhere near as oily as it once was, and even my hair gets way less greasy and I can go for multiple days without washing it now. I still have pimples here and there but I'd say my acne is 95% better than it has ever been in the past 8 years.

The only con is that you have to talk ALOT. I buy the 500 milligram capsules in bottles of 100, and I take 16 pills a day (4 grams). It's kind of a pain to take all of these pills but I spread it out to 4 pills four times a day. You might need more or less depending on how it works for you.

>> No.8200528

>>8200513

It's not, I've done plenty of research on it. I've been doing it for 6 months with absolutely no negative side effects, and it doesn't have any permanent effects
