Barbers see crusty old dudes all day long; they give buzzcut after buzzcut with the occasional high and tight. Hairstylists know more about the trendy, fancy hairstyle you probably want.

I cut, bleach and dye my own hair. Have done so for the past 8 years, learned everything from the internet and best friend who is a hairdresser.

It's not really that hard. Cutting the back of your head is tricky, but with two mirrors and good hand-eye coordination, can be done.
Using dye is retarded easy, making your own dye is awesome and you only require some knowledge in color theory and pigments.
Bleaching is by far the hardest part, one mistake and you're now either bald or bleeding.
